The location was perfect for our outdoor activities, with the Zermatt-Furi Gondola and Matterhorn Express II Cable Car easily accessible. We enjoyed cross-country skiing, exploring the ski runs, and making use of the convenient ski lifts in the area. The lodge provided a comfortable and spacious apartment with stunning views, ensuring that we had a memorable experience. Plus, it was great that we only shared the facilities with our own family, providing a sense of privacy.

For dads, it would be great if the lodge offered a play area or entertainment options specifically catered to families with children.

The breakfast was excellent, although a bit pricey. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to all the amenities and the town center. The new vegetarian restaurant, Bazaar, was a pleasant surprise and catered to our dietary preferences. The studio and apartment we stayed in were beautifully decorated and provided all the comfort we needed. The kitchen area was a great addition, and the apartment had plenty of space. We were lucky to have a room with a stunning view of the mountains, including the Matterhorn. The canvas bag and slippers provided by the hotel were a thoughtful touch.

One drawback was that we were not aware that the actual hotel reception and lobby were a bit of a walk up a steep hill from where we arrived. It would have been helpful to have clearer instructions on where to go upon arrival.

I stayed at a lodge that was conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station. It was perched on a hill in the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. The room was spacious and modern, complete with top-of-the-line appliances. The highlight was definitely the view of the Matterhorn, which I could enjoy from both the living room and the balconies. The lodge also provided thoughtful amenities like shopping bags, umbrellas, and even a Swiss Army knife key chain.

I did encounter a minor inconvenience when the code to retrieve the key didn't work upon arrival. Additionally, there were some issues with the customer service, as I never received the second key despite numerous reminders.

The views were absolutely stunning, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Such a great stay!

Oh, the joy of struggling with the wooden door and the fireplace that fills the whole flat with a lovely smokey smell. Just delightful.

The view of the Matterhorn from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't get enough of it. The apartment was well equipped and felt warm and comfortable. We appreciated having a kitchen area and plenty of space in the living and bathroom. The staff was friendly and responded quickly to our questions. we had a great stay at Overlook Lodge By Cervo and would highly recommend it.
